Oral evidence Session and Invitation to submit written evidence

Export Control Act: Secondary Legislation Consultation

An evidence session has been arranged as follows:

Thursday 3 April 2003, 3.00pm: Rt Hon Patricia Hewitt MP Secretary of State for Trade and Industry

The meeting will take place in a committee room in the Palace of Westminster or Portcullis House.  It is advisable to ring the office on 020 7219 4300 to check the precise venue a few days in advance of the session.

Invitation to submit written evidence

The Committees would greatly welcome written submissions from interested parties.  Submissions should focus on the proposals for secondary legislation under the Export Control Act published by the Department for Trade and Industry.

Those wishing to submit memoranda should send them to the Clerk of the Committee at the address above. If possible, please supply an electronic version in MS Word or Rich Text format, either by email to [email protected] or on disk. If submitted by email or email attachment, a letter should also be sent validating the email with a clear indication of the originator's name and address. Memoranda should reach the Clerk by 10th March.  A general Guide for Witnesses giving details of the suggested form of memoranda can be found on the parliamentary website,
