 Responses to the Asian tsunami disaster

Publication of oral and written evidence

On Wednesday 9 February and Thursday 10 March the International Development Committee held two oral  evidence sessions looking at Responses to the Asian tsunami disaster. The witnesses were Mr Jan Egeland, United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, and the Rt Hon Hilary Benn MP, Secretary of State for International Development.

The Oral and Written evidence from these sessions will be published on Tuesday 5 April at 11.00 a.m., as HC 328, from Session 2004-05.

The Oral and Written Evidence will be available for collection by Government Departments, witnesses and the press from the Reception Desk at 7 Millbank, London SW1P 3JA and from the Press Gallery from 11.00 a.m. on Tuesday 5 April.
