"The Extradition Treaty has long been contentious due to the principal of reciprocity, and the ongoing developments in the case of Gary McKinnon serve to highlight the continuing difficulties in the current extradition relationship between the UK and the US. We are pleased to have this opportunity to question the Home Secretary on his role in the decision making of cases which stem from the Treaty."
