FUTURE OF THE FORENSIC SCIENCE SERVICE

This is a one-off evidence session to inquire into the Forensic Science Service (FSS) and investigate how recent announcements of redundances and its proposed future part-privatisation will pose problems in areas such as data protection and security. It will also investigate how this will affect forensic science more generally and police work in this area.
