The Home Affairs Committee will hold its fourth evidence session of the Committee's inquiry into Managing Migration: Points-Based System on Tuesday 3 March 2009. The Committee previously took evidence on 8 July 2008, 3 February 2009 and 10 February 2009.

Rt Hon Keith Vaz MP, Chairman of the Committee said:

"The Committee has heard that the implementation of the new points-based system will affect the ability of UK universities and higher education institutions to compete for students in a globally competitive market; and the ability of the arts and entertainment industries to recruit highly skilled international artists to perform in the UK. In this session we will investigate the extent of these issues and possible solutions".
