THE GOVERNMENT’S COUNTER-TERRORISM PROPOSALS
In announcing this evidence session the Rt Hon Keith Vaz MP, Chairman of the Home Affairs Committee said:
"In considering any extension of powers to combat terrorism it is necessary that the Committee consult as widely and thoroughly as possible. This session will allow Members to hear from a representative of the survivors of the 7th July 2005 terror attacks and also for Rt Hon David Davis MP and Nick Clegg MP to have a key opportunity to communicate the concerns of their parties directly to the Committee."

The following additional evidence session has been arranged as part of the above inquiry:

The session will be open to the public on a first come, first served basis. There is no system for the prior reservation of seats in Committee Rooms. It is advisable to allow about 20 minutes to pass through security checks. Committee room and timing are subject to change.
