The following evidence session has been arranged as part of the above inquiry:

Date and Time: Tuesday 27 February 2007 at 10.15 a.m.

Inquiry: Young Black People and the Criminal Justice System

Witnesses: Deputy Assistant Commissioner Cressida Dick, ACPO lead for gun crime prevention, Peter Fahy, ACPO diversity lead, and Superintendent Leroy Logan, Deputy Borough Commander, Hackney Police, followed at approximately 11.30 a.m. by Ellie Roy, Chief Executive, and Chris Hume, Director of Practice and Performance, Youth Justice Board

Location (tbc): Wilson Room, Portcullis House

The session will be open to the public on a first come, first served basis. There is no system for the prior reservation of seats in Committee Rooms. It is advisable to allow about 20 minutes to pass through security checks.
