COMMITTEE TO TAKE EVIDENCE ON GOVERNMENT’S DRAFT TERRORISM LEGISLATION

The Government has today (15 September) published further proposals to deal with the threat of terrorism. These included draft clauses from the forthcoming Terrorism Bill. The Home Affairs Committee will take evidence on the Government’s proposals on Tuesday 11 October. The full details of the session are as follows:

The session will be open to the public on a first come, first served basis. There is no system for the prior reservation of seats in Committee Rooms. It is advisable to allow about 20 minutes to pass through security checks. Committee rooms are subject to change. It is advisable that those interested in attending the session should check the Committee’s website a few days before the meeting.
