The Responsibilities of the Secretary of State for Health - Update
The evidence session with the Secretary of State for Health, announced on 17 July, will start now in public at the later time of 10 am.

Members of the public and representatives of the press will be admitted to these meetings. Meetings may be held either in the Palace of Westminster or Portcullis House, and there are can be last minute changes.
The Health Committee is a Select Committee of the House of Commons. It is appointed under Standing Order No.152 to examine the expenditure, administration and policy of the Department of Health and associated public bodies. The Committee has the power to send for persons, papers and records.
Please note that the Health Committee is unable to investigate individual cases.
