The Health Committee would like to announce the witnesses to the first oral evidence session of its inquiry into the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence.

Thursday 17 May

Further evidence sessions will be held on Thursday 28 June and Thursday 12 July.

It is likely that the Committee will hold at least one oral session in the Autumn.

Details regarding the witnesses at these sessions will be released in due course.

The Health Committee is a Select Committee of the House of Commons. It is appointed under Standing Order No.152 to examine the expenditure, administration and policy of the Department of Health and associated public bodies. The Committee has the power to send for persons, papers and records.
