The Health Committee will publish its Seventh Report of Session 2002-03 on Patient and Public Involvement in the NHS (HC 697) on Wednesday 16 July at 00.01 am.  A Press Conference will be held at 11:00 on Wednesday 16 July in Committee Room 16.

Confidential advance copies of the report, which will be embargoed until 00.01 am on Wednesday 16 July, will be available for collection on Tuesday 15 July between 12.00 noon and 1.00 pm from the reception desk at Westminster House, 7 Millbank, London SW1. Advance copies of the report will also be made available to the Press from the Press Gallery, House of Commons at 12.00 noon on Tuesday 15 July.

  • Professor John Blundell, Chair of Psycho-biology, University of Leeds

    This will be the last meeting of the Health Committee before the Summer Recess. Evidence sessions on Obesity will resume again in the Autumn.

The Health Committee is a Select Committee of the House of Commons.  It is appointed under Standing Order No.  152 to examine the expenditure, administration and policy of the Department of Health and associated public bodies.  The Committee has power to send for persons, papers and records.
