The Health Committee will publish its Second Report of Session 2004-05 on The Prevention of Venous Thromboembolism in Hospitalised Patients (HC 99) at 00:01 (one minute past midnight) on Tuesday 8 March.

Confidential advance copies of the report, which will be embargoed until 00.01 on Tuesday 8 March, will be available for collection on Monday 7 March between 11.00am  and 12 noon from the reception desk at Westminster House, 7 Millbank, London SW1.

 No press conference will be held.

Advance copies of the report will also be made available to the Press from the Press Gallery, House of Commons at 11.00 am on Monday 7 March.

 Witnesses' copies of the Report will be posted to them.

The Health Committee is a Select Committee of the House of Commons. It is appointed under Standing Order No. 152 to examine the expenditure, administration and policy of the Department of Health and associated public bodies. The Committee has the power to send for persons, papers and records.
