INVITATION TO SUBMIT WRITTEN EVIDENCE

FCO Annual Report 2005-2006

On 17th May, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) published its latest annual report, Departmental Report 1 April 2005-31 March 2006. The Departmental Report sets out the FCO’s achievements over the past year as well as its plans for the next two years. It shows how the Foreign Office budget is used to deliver its policy and service objectives.

As in previous years, the Foreign Affairs Committee will inquire into the Report. The inquiry will examine a wide range of issues including the FCO’s financial and personnel management, and also cover the work of the British Council and the BBC World Service.

The Committee would welcome written evidence on the Departmental Report. Interested parties should submit evidence by e-mail to [email protected] by Monday 26 June 2006, indicating clearly their name and address.
