Foreign Policy Aspects of the War against Terrorism

The Foreign Affairs Committee will not be holding an Evidence Session into Foreign Policy Aspects of the War against Terrorism on Tuesday 13th May as stated in the Committee information leaflet available at the Committee's meeting with the Foreign Secretary on Tuesday 29th April. The Committee has decided to postpone this Evidence Session until 3rd June.

Standing Committee on the Convention

The Standing Committee on the Convention on the Future of Europe, which is comprised of the members of the Foreign Affairs Committee and the European Scrutiny Committee, is holding its next sitting on Wednesday 7th May at 3.15pm in Committee Room 10.

Committee meetings are open to the public. Access is via St Stephen's Entrance for the House of Commons Committee Rooms and the main entrance on the Thames Embankment for Portcullis House Rooms. It is advisable to allow about 10 minutes to pass through security checks.  There is no system for the prior reservation of seats in the Committee Rooms. Committee Rooms are subject to change. Those interested in attending Committee meetings are advised to check the House of Commons Committee Information Line, which provides recorded information about forthcoming meetings including venues, subjects under discussion and contact numbers for further information.
