1. PENSIONS FOR PRU STAFF
The Committee agreed that staff of the Parliamentary Resources Unit should be allowed to participate in the Portcullis pension scheme, the death in service scheme and childcare vouchers, with the substantive costs being met by the House, provided that in respect of the staff concerned the PRU complied with all the rules applying to Members' staff, including standard contracts and pay bands; but that no final decision should be made until the autumn, by which time the legislation relating to the Parliamentary Standards Authority was likely to be in place.
2. E-PETITIONS AND PROCEDURE COMMITTEE
The Committee agreed that its discussion with the Chairman of the Procedure Committee about e-petitions should be before the summer recess if possible, and that it would hold an additional meeting to achieve this (possibly replacing the planned 9 July meeting).
3. STEWARDSHIP REPORT
The Committee took note of the stewardship report.
