1. INTERNATIONAL PARLIAMENTARY BODIES€”TRANSFER OF FUNDING FROM TREASURY TO THE HOUSE

The Committee considered a proposal from the UK branches of the CPA, IPU, BIIPB and BAPG that their funding should be transferred from the Treasury to the House. It was agreed to seek additional information and consider the matter further.

2. ELECTION MONITORING€”BID FOR ADDITIONAL BUDGET FOR OSCE DELEGATION

The Committee considered a proposal for additional funding to enable the UK delegation to OSCE to play a greater role in monitoring elections in emerging democracies in eastern Europe. It was agreed to consider the matter further at the next meeting.
