ORAL EVIDENCE FROM Mr TONY MCNULTY MP, MINISTER OF STATE FOR SECURITY, COUNTER-TERRORISM, CRIME AND POLICING, HOME OFFICE
The European Scrutiny Committee will be taking evidence from Mr Tony McNulty MP, Minister of State for Security, Counter-terrorism, Crime and Policing, Home office, on the Draft Council Decision establishing the European Police Office (EUROPOL). The purpose of the evidence session is to ask the Minister why he agreed to "general approaches" on six chapters of the draft Decision when they had not been cleared from Parliamentary scrutiny; and to ask about the progress of the negotiations on the proposal.
The evidence session will take place on
Wednesday, 16 January at 2.30pm in Committee Room 8, Palace of Westminster.
