1. Private Deliberative Session

The Committee deliberated.

Motion made, and Question proposed, That the Committee is disappointed at the withdrawal of the Chairman's draft report on Subsidiarity from the agenda and the apparent breakdown of communication between the Clerk and the Chairman; and asks that the Clerk and Chairman put in place procedures to ensure that where there is the expectation that an item is to be taken at a specific meeting then it should be on the agenda.€” (Richard Younger-Ross.)

Amendment proposed in line 1, to leave out "disappointed", and to insert the words "deeply disturbed". €” (Mr William Cash.)
