1. Scrutiny of Documents

Draft Report, proposed by the Chairman, brought up and read.

Ordered, That the draft Report be read a second time, paragraph by paragraph.

Paragraphs 1.1 to 18 read and agreed to.

Resolved, That the Report be the Seventh Report of the Committee to the House.

Ordered, That the Chairman make the Report to the House.

2. Oral Evidence Session

Motion made and Question put, That the Committee does not take further oral evidence from the Foreign Secretary on the Intergovernmental Conference for a Reform Treaty, now the Lisbon Treaty. €” (The Chairman.)

3. Concluding Report Chapter

Motion made and Question put, That the Committee prepares a concluding report chapter on the issues of the outstanding scrutiny reserve, with respect to Document 11625/07 COM(07)412 Reforming Europe for the 21st Century: Opinion of the European Commission, pursuant to Article 48 of the Treaty on European Union, on the Conference of representatives of the governments of the Member States convened to revise the Treaties. €” (The Chairman.)

4. Future Programme

Resolved, That the Committee visit Brussels in March for the Tripartite Meeting, and that the Chairman seek the approval for the Liaison Committee in connection with the visit.

Resolved, That the Committee visit France for a visit to the Member State which is due to take over the Presidency of the European Union, and that the Chairman seek the approval of the Liaison Committee for expenditure in connection with the visit.
