Reducing greenhouse gas emissions from deforestation

Tuesday 3 March, Committee Room 15- Change of Witness

At the evidence session on Tuesday 3rd March Gareth Thomas MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, DFID, is being replaced by Michael Foster MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, DFID. The main purpose of these sessions is to explore the potential use of carbon markets to address deforestation. Related issues such as the timber trade are also likely to be covered.
