Sustainable Housing: a progress report

The Environmental Audit Committee has decided to hold further oral evidence sessions in relation to its inquiry Sustainable Housing: a progress report. The meeting details are as follows:

Wednesday 18 January

3.00 pm: George Wimpey UK Ltd and Crest Nicholson PLC

3.40 pm (approx): Home Builders Federation

Wednesday 25 January

2.50pm The Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) and RWE Thames Water

3.30pm Yvette Copper MP, Minister for Housing and Planning, Office of the Deputy Prime Minister

Tuesday 31 January

2.50pm Elliot Morley MP, Minister for Climate Change and Environment, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.

The Committee normally meets in a committee room at Westminster. These sessions are open to the public on a first come, first served basis. There are often last minute changes of room and meetings may be held either in the Palace of Westminster or in Portcullis House. Those wishing to attend should check the venue by calling the committee office information line the day before the hearing on 020 7219 2033.
