The Environmental Audit Committee has decided to hold the following oral evidence sessions in relation to its inquiry Keeping the Lights On: Nuclear, Renewables and Climate Change

Wednesday 19 October:

2.50 pm: WWF-UK
3.30 pm (approx):  The Lower Carbon Futures Research Group; and Warwick Business School
4.10 pm (approx):  Tom Burke, visiting Professor at Imperial College, London

Wednesday 26 October:

3.00 pm: Sussex Energy Group
3.40 pm (approx): British Wind Energy Association; and David Milborrow, Consultant
4.20 pm (approx): Energy Saving Trust; and The Micropower Council

Wednesday 2 November:

2.50 pm: EDF Energy
3.30 pm (approx): Scottish and Southern Energy
4.10 pm (approx): Climate Change Capital

The Committee expects to hold further oral evidence sessions in relation to this inquiry and details will be announced in due course.

The Committee normally meets in a committee room at Westminster. These sessions are open to the public on a first come, first served basis. There are often last minute changes of room and meetings may be held either in the Palace of Westminster or in Portcullis House. Those wishing to attend should check the venue by calling the committee office information line the day before the hearing on 020 7219 2033.
