EVIDENCE SESSIONS

The Committee will take evidence from witnesses at the House of Commons as follows. These will form part of the Committee's inquiries into Winning the War on Waste and World Summit on Sustainable Development: From Rhetoric to Reality

Wednesday 12 February

9.30am    Jonathan Porritt,  Chairman, Sustainable Development  Commission (World Summit on Sustainable Development: From Rhetoric to Reality Inquiry)

1.15pm    Rt Hon. Margaret Beckett MP - Secretary of State, Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs

The Committee will examine Mrs Beckett on issues relating to Waste in the first instance and then on issues relating to the World Summit on Sustainable Development at approximately 2.30pm.
