Pre-Budget Report 2005

The Environmental Audit Committee has decided to hold two further evidence sessions in relation to its inquiry Pre-Budget 2005. The details are as follows:

Wednesday 8 February

2.50 pm: Environment Agency

3.30 pm: Paul Ekins, Head of Environment Group, Policy Studies Institute; Professor of Sustainable Development, University of Westminster

Thursday 9 February

12.00 pm: John Healey MP, Financial Secretary, HM Treasury

The Committee normally meets in a committee room at Westminster. These sessions are open to the public on a first come, first served basis. There are often last minute changes of room and meetings may be held either in the Palace of Westminster or in Portcullis House. Those wishing to attend should check the venue by calling the committee office information line the day before the hearing on 020 7219 2033.
