The Annual Report of the Committee 2003

The Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee has received replies from the Government to several of its Reports:

  • Second Report of Session 2003-04, The Annual Report of the Committee 2003, which was published on 21 January 2004 as HC 225

  • Eighth Report of Session 2003-04, Gangmasters (follow-up), which was published on 20 May  2004 as HC 455, and

  • Ninth Report of Session 2003-04, Milk Pricing in the United Kingdom, which was published on 8 June 2004 as HC 335.

The Committee will publish these replies as its Twelfth, Thirteenth and Fourteenth Special Reports of Session 2003-04:

  • Twelfth Special Report of Session 2003-04, Gangmasters (follow-up): Government Reply to the Committee's Report (HC 1035)

  • Thirteenth Special Report of Session 2003-04, Milk Pricing in the United Kingdom: Replies from the Government and the Office of Fair Trading to the Committee's Report (HC 1036), and

  • Fourteenth Special Report of Session 2003-04, The Annual Report of the Committee 2003: Government Reply to the Committee's Report (HC 1037).

The Special Reports will be published at 11am on Tuesday 14 September 2004. Copies will be made available to members of the press and to witnesses who received copies of the original report. The Report will be available in the following ways:

  • Members of the media can collect them from the Press Gallery, House of Commons.

  • Copies of the Reports may be obtained, on publication, from the usual outlets, including The Parliamentary Bookshop and The Stationery Office.

  • The Reports will be posted on the internet at approximately 3.30 pm on 14 September, and will be accessible via the Committee's homepage.
