New Covent Garden Market: a follow-up:
Committee to publish its Report
The Committee will publish on Thursday 9 October at 11.00 am its report entitled New Covent Garden Market: a follow-up (Fifteenth Report, Session 2002-03, HC 901).
The report follows an inquiry undertaken on behalf of the Committee by a Sub-committee chaired by Rt Hon Michael Jack MP. The other members of the Sub-committee were David Borrow MP, Rt Hon David Curry MP, David Drew MP, Austin Mitchell MP and Paddy Tipping MP.
The Sub-committee took oral evidence in June and July from the Corporation of London, the Covent Garden Market Authority, Nicholas Saphir (author of the Review of London Wholesale Markets, published in October 2002) and from Lord Whitty, a Defra Minister.
Copies of the report will be available from 11.00 am on Thursday 9 October, in the following ways:

They will be sent by post to all witnesses (including those who submitted written evidence), or, if preferred, they can be collected either by witnesses or by their representatives at 11.00 am on Thursday, from Westminster House, 7 Millbank, London.
