Securing food supplies up to 2050: Government response to the Committee's Fourth Report of Session 2008-09

The Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee has received a response from the Government to the following report:

• Fourth Report of Session 2008-09, Securing food supplies up to 2050: the challenges faced by the UK, which was published on 21 July 2009 as HC 213-I. The Government’s response will be published as a Special Report on Monday 19 October 2009 at 11.00am (HC 1022).

Ofwat Price Review 2009: Government response to the Committee’s Fifth Report of Session 2008-09

The Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee has received a response from the Government to the following report:

• Fifth Report of Session 2008-09, Ofwat Price Review 2009, which was published on 22 July 2009 as HC 554-I. The Government’s response will be published as a Special Report on Monday 19 October 2009 at 11.00am (HC 1023).

ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND FUEL POVERTY

The Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee has received a response from the Government to the following report:

• Third Report of Session 2008-09, Energy efficiency and fuel poverty, which was published on 10 June 2009 as HC 37. The Government’s response was published as a Command Paper by the Department for Energy and Climate Change, October 2009 (CM 7719).


Copies of the Special Reports will be available in the following ways:

• Media representatives can collect the Special Reports from the Press Gallery, House of Commons.

• It will be sent by post to all witnesses or, if preferred, may be collected on publication either by witnesses or by their representatives between 11.00am and 11.30am  on Monday 19 October, from Westminster House, 7 Millbank, London.

• Copies of the Special Reports may be obtained, on publication, from the usual outlets, including The Parliamentary Bookshop and The Stationery Office.

• The Special Reports will be posted on the Parliamentary internet on publication, and will be accessible via the Committee’s homepage.
