REPORT TO BE PUBLISHED: Securing food supplies up to 2050: the challenges for the UK

The Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee has agreed a Report entitled Securing food supplies up to 2050: the challenges for the UK. This is the Committee’s Fourth Report of Session 2008-09 and will be published on Tuesday 21 July 2009 at 00:01am as HC 213, incorporating HC 266. Advance copies of the Report will be available under embargo from 11.00am on Monday 20 July.

The Committee will publish the volume of oral and written evidence on Tuesday 21 July 2009 at 11.00am.

Copies of the Report will be available in the following ways:

• Media representatives can collect the Report from the Press Gallery, House of Commons.

• They will be sent by post to all witnesses or, if preferred, they may be collected either by witnesses or by their representatives between 11.00am and 11.30am on Monday 20 July, from Westminster House, 7 Millbank, London.

• Copies of the Report may be obtained, on publication, from the usual outlets, including The Parliamentary Bookshop and The Stationery Office.

• The Report will be posted on the Parliamentary internet on Tuesday 21 July, and will be accessible via the Committee’s homepage.
