The Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee has agreed a report about the End of Life Vehicles Directive and the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive. The report follows an inquiry conducted by its Environmental Directives Sub-committee.

The Report will be published on Friday 20 February 2004 at 00.01 am. Advanced copies of the report will be available under embargo from 11.00 am on Thursday 19 February 2004.

A press notice will be issued at the same time as the Report is published.

Advanced copies of the Report will be available to members of the media from 11.00 am on Thursday 19 February 2004. These copies will be embargoed until 00.01 am on Friday 20 February. The Report will be available in the following ways:

  • Members of the media can collect them from the Press Gallery, House of Commons.

  • They will be sent by post to all witnesses (including those who submitted written evidence), or, if preferred, they can be collected either by witnesses or by their representatives between 11.00 am and 11.30 am on Thursday 19 February, from Westminster House, 7 Millbank, London.

  • On 20 February the Report will also be available from the usual outlets, including the Stationery Office bookshops (reference: Fourth Report of the Committee, Session 2003-04, HC 103).

  • The Report will be posted on the internet at approximately 3.30 pm on 20 February, and will be accessible via the Committee's homepage.
