GOVERNMENT REPLY TO REPORT ON THE ROLE OF DEFRA

The Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee has received a reply from the Government  to its Tenth Report of Session 2001-02, The Role of Defra, which was published on 14 November 2002 ( HC 991, Session 2001-02).

The Committee will publish the reply as its First Special Report of Session 2002-03,The Role of Defra: Government's Reply to the Committee's Tenth Report of Session 2001-02 (HC  340, Session 2002-03).

The Special Report will be published on Tuesday 28 January at 11.00 am and will be available on the Internet from approximately 3.30 pm on that day accessible via the Committee's homepage.

Copies will be posted to all witnesses who received copies of the original report. They will also be available in the House of Commons Press Gallery (on 28 January at 11.00 am), from The Stationery Office bookshops and other usual outlets.
