The Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee will hold the following oral evidence sessions in relation to its inquiry into Securing food supplies up to 2050: the challenges for the UK:

Wednesday 28 January 2009:
3.00pm Professor Tim Lang, Professor of Food Policy, City University
4.00pm Professor John Beddington, Government Chief Scientific Advisor

Wednesday 4 February 2009:
4.30pm Chatham House food supply project
5.30pm Research centres: Rothamsted Research and Warwick HRI

2. The Committee normally meets in the Thatcher Room, Portcullis House.
