Energy and Climate Change Committee Meeting - 20 May 2009

The Energy and Climate Change Committee today decided that Paddy Tipping would chair Committee meetings in the absence of Mr Elliot Morley. Mr Morley - who formally remains Chairman of the Committee - has stepped aside from Committee business until issues relating to his expenses claims are resolved.

Mr Morley has announced his intention not to draw the salary paid to select committee chairmen until this matter is resolved.
