LESSON OF IRAQ
On 11 April the Defence Committee announced that it intended to conduct a major inquiry into the military campaign in Iraq.
The next evidence sessions in this inquiry have now been arranged.

Further evidence sessions will be announced in due course.
The terms of reference of the inquiry are:

To examine the role of the UK Armed Forces in the major combat phase of the recent conflict in Iraq;

To explore how far lessons from previous operations and deployments, including in Afghanistan, were acted upon and implemented; and
-
To consider what lessons for the future may be drawn from Operation Telic.

The Committee will not consider memoranda for consideration for this inquiry where only an email address is provided, please supply a full postal address when submitting any memorandum.
