The Defence Committee will be publishing The Iran hostages incident: the lessons learned. Government Response to the Committee's Fourth Report of Session 2007-08, HC 399, as its Fourth Special Report of Session 2007-08, at 11 am on 26 March 2008.


The Committee was nominated on 13 July 2005. The Defence Committee is appointed by the House of Commons to examine the expenditure, administration, and policy of the Ministry of Defence and its associated public bodies.
