MPs TO SCRUTINISE THE WORK OF THE MET OFFICE
The Defence Committee will be taking oral evidence from the Chief Executive, Mr Mark Hutchinson, and Met Office officials,
on Thursday 11 May at 2.00 pm at the Met Office in Exeter.
As part of the Committee’s programme of scrutiny of the Ministry of Defence’s Agencies, the Committee is undertaking an inquiry into the work of the Met Office. Among the issues which the Committee is focusing on are the Met Office’s performance against its key targets and whether the move from Bracknell to Exeter is achieving the expected benefits.
