ELECTORAL REGISTRATION FIRST EVIDENCE SESSION
The Constitutional Affairs Committee and the Committee on the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister: Housing, Planning, Local Government and the Regions will be hearing evidence for their joint inquiry into Electoral registration on the following date:

The evidence session will take place in public, unless otherwise decided by the Committee, in a Committee Room at the House of Commons. Those wishing to attend the meeting should check the venue by contacting the Committee Office Information Line on 020 7219 2033 on the day before the hearing.

The joint inquiry will be investigating a number of issues including: the advantages of individual registration; strategies for encouraging registration; issues of geographic and ethnic variations in levels of registration; alternative registration systems; difficulties experienced by those unable to complete forms; availability, confidentiality and security of the register.
