Introductory Oral Evidence Session
The Communities and Local Government Committee will be holding an introductory oral evidence session with the newly appointed Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government on the following date:
Tuesday 10 July
At 10.45 am Rt Hon Hazel Blears MP, Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government.
This will be the first time the new Secretary of State has appeared before the Communities and Local Government Committee. It will provide an opportunity to explore priorities and aspirations for the Department for Communities and Local Government under new leadership.

The evidence session will take place in public, unless otherwise decided by the Committee, in Committee Room 15 at the House of Commons. Those wishing to attend the meeting are advised to use St Stephens entrance to gain access to the Committee Room. All public entering the Palace of Westminster are subject to security search, so please allow time for this.
