Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills (Ofsted)
Ofsted is a non-ministerial government department, independent from the Department for Children, Schools and Families. It's remit is to "inspect and regulate care for children and young people, and inspect education and training for learners of all ages".

Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service (CAFCASS)
CAFCASS is a non-departmental public body. Its remit is to "look after the interests of children involved in family proceedings. It works with children and their families, and then advises the courts on what it considers to be in the children's best interests. CAFCASS only works in the family courts".
