Oral Evidence Session
The Children, Schools and Families Committee will be taking formal oral evidence as follows:

Witness: Rt Hon Ed Balls MP, Secretary of State; and Rt Hon Jim Knight MP, Minister of State for Schools and Learners, Department for Children, Schools and Families.
The session is expected to cover a wide range of topical issues, including the impact of the economic downturn on Departmental spending, Lord Sutherland's report on the late delivery of National Curriculum test results in 2008, and children's services.
This session will be open to the public on a first come, first served basis. There is no system for the prior reservation of seats in Committee Rooms. It is advisable to allow about 20 minutes to pass through security checks. Committee rooms and timings are subject to change.
