Oral Evidence Session

This is the seventh session of the inquiry. The purpose of this session is to explore issues relevant to looked-after young people who come into contact with the youth justice system, and the particular circumstances of unaccompanied asylum-seeking children in the care system.

This session will consider the Departmental Annual Report published by the Department for Children, Schools and Families in May 2008 and related issues.

These sessions will also be open to the public on a first come, first served basis. There is no system for the prior reservation of seats in Committee Rooms. It is advisable to allow about 20 minutes to pass through security checks. Committee rooms and timings are subject to change.
