Oral Evidence Session
The Children, Schools and Families Committee will be taking formal oral evidence as follows:

Witnesses: Teresa Bergin, Director, Diploma programme, and Mick Waters, Director of Curriculum, Qualifications and Curriculum Authority; Professor David Hargreaves, Associate Director for Development and Research, Specialist Schools and Academies Trust; and Tim Oates, Director of Assessment Research and Development, Cambridge Assessment.
The purpose of the meeting is to consider:
- the current direction of curriculum reforms;
- the implications of personalisation for the National Curriculum;
- the implications of policies on assessment for learning and single level tests for the National Curriculum; and
- the future role of the QCA and Ofqual.
This session will be open to the public on a first come, first served basis. There is no system for the prior reservation of seats in Committee Rooms. It is advisable to allow about 20 minutes to pass through security checks. Committee rooms and timings are subject to change.
