The Children, Schools and Families Committee will be taking formal oral evidence as follows:

Evidence from: Professor Pat Petrie, Institute of Education; and David Crimmens, University of Lincoln.

This is the fifth session of the inquiry; its purpose is to consider how the social care workforce can best meet the needs of looked-after children, and the likely impact of workforce initiatives announced in the Care Matters white paper.

The session will also be open to the public on a first come, first served basis. There is no system for the prior reservation of seats in Committee Rooms. It is advisable to allow about 20 minutes to pass through security checks. Committee rooms and timings are subject to change.
