The Children, Schools and Families Committee will be taking formal oral evidence as follows:

Monday 9 March 2009 at 4.00pm
The Wilson Room, Portcullis House

Witness: Graham Allen MP.

The purpose of the session is to discuss the principle of early intervention, through preventative action and education, rather than remedial action to tackle social problems. The Committee is also likely to discuss Mr Allen's work in helping to establish an Early Intervention strategy in Nottingham.

This session will be open to the public on a first come, first served basis. There is no system for the prior reservation of seats in Committee Rooms. It is advisable to allow about 20 minutes to pass through security checks. Committee rooms and timings are subject to change.
