ANNOUNCEMENT OF ORAL EVIDENCE SESSION

Business, Innovation and Skills Committee to examine Company mergers, takeovers and acquisitions

The Business, Innovation and Skills Committee will hold an oral evidence session on Tuesday 12 January 2010 at 10.30am in the Grimond Room, Portcullis House.

Recent press reports have highlighted high profile take-over bids for British companies. The Business, Innovation and Skills Committee has decided to hold a one-off evidence session on the principles underlying mergers, takeovers and acquisitions and Government policy in that area.
