ORAL EVIDENCE SESSION

POST OFFICES-SECURING THEIR FUTURE

The first formal oral evidence session by the Business & Enterprise Committee into the important inquiry into posts offices will take place on Tuesday 24 March at 10.30am in the Grimond Room, Porcullis House with the following witnesses:

At 10.30am -               Co-operative Group
                                  PayPoint

At 11.30am -               Consumer Focus
                                  Age Concern / Help the Aged
                                  Citizens Advice Bureau

The session follows evidence gathering public meetings with representatives from local post offices in Essex, Devon and Cardiff.  In addition, the Committee has received a large number of written submissions to the inquiry.
