LORD CARTER TO GIVE EVIDENCE ON DIGITAL BRITAIN

The Business & Enterprise Committee will hold an evidence session with Lord Carter to discuss his recent report, Digital Britain on Tuesday 10 March 2009

Issues raised by Lord Carter’s report that the Committee may explore are:

• The benefits for UK businesses

• Funding for the proposals given the current economic climate

• The Universal Service Commitment

• Digital Piracy and ISP snooping

• Spectrum licenses.

The session will be open to the public on a first come, first served basis. There is no system for the prior reservation of seats in Committee Rooms. It is advisable to allow about 20 minutes to pass through security checks. Committee Rooms and timings are subject to change.
