The Committee on Soft Power and the UK's Influence was appointed on 16 May 2013 to examine the use of soft power in furthering the UK's global influence and interests.

Liaison Committee First Report: Review of select committee activity and proposals for new committee action

The Committee was appointed on 16 May 2013 to examine the use of soft power in furthering the UK's global influence and interests. This followed a recommendation by the Liaison Committee, in their First Report of sesson 2012-13, (paragraphs 39-43). It will report by 14 March 2014.
