The Committee on Soft Power and the UK’s Influence - role

The Committee on Soft Power and the UK's Influence was appointed on 16 May 2013 to examine the use of soft power in furthering the UK's global influence and interests.

This followed a recommendation by the Liaison Committee, in their First Report of Session 2012-13 (paragraphs 39-43). The Committee published their report on 28 March 2014.
