EU Financial Framework from 2014

  • The EU Committee has conducted an inquiry into the EU Financial Framework from 2014.

The EU Commission has published a Communication The EU Budget Review, with Technical annexes. An Explanatory Memorandum has been published by the Treasury, giving the UK Government's views. Links to these documents are below. This Budget Review will lead to the setting of the EU's Multiannual Financial Framework from 2014. It is therefore a vital piece of policy, which will affect much of what the EU does for years to come.

The Committee published its report on 5 April. The report will receive a response from the Government, and will be debated in the House.
