EU Energy and Environment Sub-Committee
Oral evidence concluded, report in preparation
The EU Energy and Environment Sub-Committee is investigating the implications of Brexit for farm animal welfare in the UK. This short inquiry will take evidence from key industry representatives and academic experts. The inquiry will be short and will build on the farm animal welfare issues considered in the Committee's inquiry into Brexit: agriculture. The inquiry aims to inform the Government, the House and the wider public on the challenges and opportunities for maintaining the UK's role as a leader in farm animal welfare in the context of Brexit.
Following dissolution, the Committee ceases to exist until it is reappointed early in the new Parliament.
EU Energy and Environment Sub-Committee takes evidence on Wednesday 5 April at 10.00am
