Residential Property Directive

On 14 September the Committee wrote to the Financial Secretary to the Treasury, Mark Hoban MP, in relation to the European Commission proposal for a Residential Property Directive.

This followed an oral evidence session held on 1 November with: Jackie Bennett, Head of Policy, Council of Mortgage Lenders; Nigel Terrington, Chief Executive Paragon Group of Companies; Vera Cottrell, Principal Policy Advisor, Which?; and Annik Lambert, Secretary General, European Mortgage Federation.
